June 05, 2006 - Has it really been that long??
I'm sure the world thought that I'd just left and would never come back to this website, and so did I. But I'm back. I posted my last entry on here. But to basically sum it up, my girlfriend broke up with me right before prom. I say before prom because that's when she told me, but I guess it didn't REALLY end until after. But those are details. Pretty much my life has become something completely different since the last post I made. All of this "I'm happy, and I'm having fun with Brooke and WoW all the time" stuff is a thing of the past. I mean, I still hand with her and I still play online, but most of the "I'm happy all the time" part is... gone. Kinda sucks, but whatever. I did have one thing that brought me through, and that's the fact that I got a promotion since then. I've become Senior Game Advisor at GameStop. Basically, I'm management. More money... yeah. That's basically it. As for how I'm handling not being with Brooke anymore... well... I dunno. I wish the whole "seperation" thing had never happened (but no one knows that until now), and I wish I could be with her again, but I know it wont happen and whatever. I'm sure no one will read this blog for months, and yeah... whatever. I have to change my oil tomorrow, just a random thought. Yeah. Well, I'm gunna sleep so I can wake up tomorrow for another fu*king crappy day, but I'll of course act happy so people dont try to cheer me up. BTW, I'm level 41 on WoW now. Later.

February 15, 2006 - WoW. What else can I say?
And what else can I talk about? World of Warcraft has consumed my life. I love this game so much. Here is me last night. Well, that's me on a bad day. No armor enhancements, etc. I just remembered that someone asked me to take a screenshot of what I looked like in game. So I did. I'll probably be level 17 by tomorrow. I should've been tonight, but I had other things to do. Last night I went on a "walkthrough" with one of my friends, (and also my manager at GameStop) Rellimdivad. He got me into Stonetalon Mountains. New flightplan, yay. Kudos to him for the help. Tonight, I went with another friend, Kieranto, and walked around and killed things. Then we got "completely smashed" at the bar in Orgrimmar. Those drinks are expensive as hell. Lol. So yeah, I'm level 16 and 3/4. Now for something un-WoW-related. In an hour, it'll be exactly one week until I'm 18. Meaning I have to go get my driver's lisence renewed. Uh, lets see. What else. I miss my girlfriend. It's wierd not going to the same school with her anymore. We still see each other, but not as much. Regardless, I miss her. (She also likes WoW, and has a char. on Azgalor) Uh, I think that's it. So I'm going to bed now. 'Night.

February 11, 2006 - Life, love, and riches
Alright, so today marks my girlfriend's and my one year and one month anniversary. Cool, eh? We're going out tonight for sonething nice. Don't really know what yet. We were going to go to Garland and hang out at this LAN gaming center/restaurant, but decided against that since it was so far away. We'll probably go to PF Chang's Chinese or La Hacienda Ranch for Mexican or something. I can't wait. Okay, I'm doing better in school (zOMG?!!). Like immensely better. I have a 98 in one of my classes! I'm happy. I've made some cool new friends. Max and Travis are on the forums, and Preston I play WoW with. Which brings me to my next subject. I LOVE WoW!!!!! If you check my Xfire times, you can see that. I'm only level 14 at the moment, but only because I've been focoused on making money rather than levelling up. At one point, I had over 17 gold at level 14! Crazy, huh? Okay, for site updates. I'm trying to make some changes in the coding of the forum that allows me to enhance the user interface and to make navigating and customizing the forum much more personalized, but things just aren't working correctly. We'll see what I can get going. Anyways, I have to go work on some things around the house. Laters.

February 01, 2006 - Wow, it's WoW
Well, I did it. I finally did it. I've uncovered what will surely be the end of my social life. I bought World of Warcraft. So, you say it's a good thing, huh? Well, so do I. Except that I love it so much that I will have no life by the end of the week. I'm Hoarde on Boulderfist, and I currently have a level 11 Undead Warrior by the name of Xyro. I hang at Orgrimarr (sp?) alot, I sell stuff at the auction house. It can turn a hefty profit. Well... it CAN. It just hasn't for me. Anyways, something besides WoW now. Lets see... the Winter-Een-Mas LAN party was OK. Only OK because I couldn't connect my PC to the LAN. Didn't feel like lugging it across the house. Otherwise it was fun. Oh, and WEMas is over now, so back to the regular forum theme. In other news, the CAD Animation episode launched today. It was pretty cool, although I'd like them to offer up a slightly compressed version instead of this lossy thing they use. I saw the Ultimate Showdown video and loved the song so much I DLed it, and then all the other Lemon Demon songs in MP3 format. They may be hosted here sometime soon, but not now. I'm effin tired. It's 1:20AM and woke up almost 24hrs ago. (it actually IS Feb 2nd) On an off note, my 18th birthday is coming up. Hope we nearly max my bandwidth this month. I'm sick of these 6% usage months. Lol. January 26, 2006 - Back on track
Well, Winter-Een-Mas started yesterday. I'm actually having a Winter-Een-Mas LAN party at my house on Saturday. That's gunna be fun. So, I finished putting the whole website into the new format, save some glitchy error pages, which I'm currently working on. Oh, and as a follow-up to my previous entry, Carlos is alive. Thankfully. And Nikki (GF's sis.) went to counseling, so all is well. Anyways, CAD Premium starts in a few days, and I'll be 18 in less than a month, too. Woo! Uh, yeah, not much else to report on at the moment. Hope you like the new site.

January 18, 2006 - Life is precious
You know, people take their lives for granted sometimes, as well as the lives of others. My girlfriend's little sister attempted to kill herself this weekend; thankfully it was unsuccessful. I mean, I'm not too close to her, but I don't think she knows what an impact she has on other people around her. Brooke would be devastated, as would most who know her. My friend Carlos, whom I haven't kept in touch with until a few days ago, just went through a breakup with his girlfriend today. This was at 10:52AM. I read about it in his blog. He writes that he now is taking drugs like cocaine and the sort, and that he wants to die. I've tried calling him, but I haven't heard anything. He didn't know how his death would affect other people around him. He says that he feels like no one loves him or cares for him. Well you know what? They do. Carlos was my best friend at Fairhill. I hope he's okay. And to anyone reading this, I wanted to say that life's worth the struggle. I know this, I haven't had the ideal life, and I know people who want their past completely erased, but to be honest, life gives you second chances, and death dosen't. Please, to anyone who feels like it's not worth it, it really is. I should know. Carlos, wherever you are, I hope you're okay.

January 15, 2006 - Cumpu-flu season
Happy new year! Well, Unnatural Wave has had some updateless time for a while, as I lost my C drive to viruses. Blasted buggers. Anyways, I'm so swamped now that I've got my web authoring and image construction software back. I've got signatures to make, sites to update, and yeah. It's also 3:15AM right now. Man, I'm tired. Anyways, I've done some minor updates to the site, including the main page. I'm also uploading some new Halo CE maps right now. After those get uploaded, I'm going to sleep. December 20, 2005 - Xmas is coming soon
Wow, it's almost Christmas! I can't believe it. There's even a style on the forums that matches the season! (Yes, I added the snowflakes). Anyways, I overhauled the games page today. I really haven't updated or changed anything much since I'm working on another site project. I did buy CAD premium, by the way, as well as ordered a Winter-Een-Mas shirt. For more on Winter-Een-Mas, visit their website. Again, another forum theme for that particular occasion. I will be leaving town on Wednesgay, December 21, so I won't be around for a bit. Also, as usual, the XBOX 360's are scarce. Microsoft decided to call my GameStop store and say that our pre-order customers won't get their systems before Christmas. Wow is that fun! December 1, 2005 - It's the end of the year as we know it.
Happy last-month-of-2005!!! December is here, meaning lots of cold, Christmas lights, funny-looking pictures of reindeer, and maybe even a new theme for the forums (check back later, lol). But one thing that isn't an every December occurrence is the OMG CAD ANIMATION PREVIEW!!! Yeah, my paycheck comes tomorrow, so you could guess what the first transaction's going to be. Yeah, I'm excited. Anyways, I was sick all day today, I slept through most of the day. I did, however, fit in enough time for Need for Speed: Most Wanted. I was able to beat the number 14 Blacklist racer, so now I'm a bit further in the game with my Chevy (I hate GM Cars) Cobalt SS. It's pretty fast now, but I'm working my way up the the '05 Mustang, and then to the GT. So yeah, there's a trip to go visit ID Software tomorrow, the makers of Doom 3, for the Computer Club at school. That's pretty exciting. Uh, I believe that's all I have to say right now. Laters.

November 28, 2005 - Why do they always send the poor?
Can you believe it?! I've actually started work on the Pole-Land Militia (PLM) website v2.0!! Everyone who is a part of the Pole-Land online community will know what I'm talking about. November 23, 2005 - Updaytes
Okay, there've been some subtle changes to the site. First of all, all of the footers not say "Xyro TR1". Second, you may have noticed that the left Navigation Bar has undergone some facelifting, as well as some title clarification. Also, a new Downloads page has been added, but not yet completed. The "Music" page is now not only Music, but videos too. Uh, yeah, now for my personal news. Brooke is coming over tomorrow for Thanksgiving. I'm quite excited to actually be able to spend a whole day with her. I haven't done that in a while. I'm hoping we can go and hang out on Friday, spend the day together and stuff. So yeah. I've been on DeviantArt alot lately, and I've submitted some more wallpapers. Uh, yeah. THat's about it. I'll update some other time, maybe tomorrow.

So, yesterday I helped Brooke's family move into their new house. That was interesting. I know they're having a hard time with it, it's difficult to move to a new house. It's like you're leaving every good thing behind in that old house. But the thing is, you're leaving the bad, taking the good. Well, hmm. OH! Paul just said "GAH. YOU WANKER". Lols. Anyways, I am slightly tired. I worked 21.75 hours this week. So yeah. Oh, I forgot to mention this earlier. I am in the process of editting all of the footers on these pages, and they should all say "Xyro TR1" instead of "The Rift 101" by the end of Wednesday. In turn, if you see any of them I missed, please let me know. Thanks.

I know it's been forever since my last update. There have been some slight technical difficulties with some explosions and the sort. Now, Unnatural Wave is back to being updated, and the world is now a better place. EXCEPT THAT MY WINDOWS THING SAYS I ONLY HAVE 8 MORE DAYS UNTIL I DIE!!!1!!1!1!!! Grr, I hate not having enough money to buy a new copy of XP! Anyways, I was running out of fitting shirts, so I decided to order some new ones off of ZeStuff. I ordered CAD's "Ethan" T-Shirt, and I also ordered "Rat-Flail" form VGCats. They should be here in 2-4 weeks. So yeah. Um, I also needed to say that "Xyro TR1" is the new username for "The Rift 101", the site's administrator. That is all.

Well, since my last post, my life has gotten almost back on track. Some things are, I feel, a little bit shaky, but in general I'm feeling better. I'm working on maybe putting Google Ads into the site so I can get some money, because this hosting is expensive as hell. I need some feedback on that. And damn it all if I didn't get those games put in. Grr, I've had a busy day. Actually, the date listed for this post is actually not the date I'm posting from. It's 2:00am on Sept. 19, lol. I had a SoBe at lunch, and not much food, so I'm awake for the moment. Yeah, time for sleep. Enjoy the stuff!

Okay, so the site is up, completely. The forums are working, I've got some good flash games, and I've got an active proxy list for bypassing web filters. And you can access this site from PISD's computers! That's always good. Not like I cant get around the block anyways, but yay still! And hell, I still have to do my CCNA (Cisco Networking Academy Prog.) homework. And it's 2:33AM! Damn. Anyways, just a bit of FYI, the site's done now. I've decided that the news page here will do not only normal news, but also provide a place for my occasional blog. So I guess I will start that now.
Today was a strange day. I was tired all day, so my performance at work sucked beyond belief. I got no reservations and no subscriptions. Shit. Anyways, I was exhausted and had a stomach ache when I got home, so I went to bed, but woke up later to answer the door because Bob had come by to give me some music. My stomach was better then, so I decided to read my new Harry Potter book. I finished it. It was a really good book. Now, I'm not one to show emotions such as sadness, but hell if I didn't get all worked up at the end of that book. I'm still upset. Anyways, I'm going to sleep now. Goodnight.

A new GameStop, that I'm currently employed at, has just opened up at the southwest corner of State Highway 121 and Ohio. Opening is between 12:00noon and 1:00pm. It is a concept store for GameStop since a large percentage of the store will be comprised of used DVD's. The DVD's are now following the same rules as console games: you can sell us your used games/movies, and you can either buy new or used copies of the game. Oh, and be sure to buy the GameStop card for $15.00. You get a discount on all used games/movies you buy,and the savings start with whatever you are buying that day. It's really cool.
